Buses will take you to the start line of the Emerald Bay Marathon, but you are responsible for your own post race transportation. A support crew is strongly suggested for your transportation needs, encouragement, nutrition and picture taking.

The Friday Lakeside Half  Marathon starts at Lakeside Beach and finishes at the Spooner Lake-Hwy 28 junction. s

The Saturday Cal-Neva Marathon is the fastest of the 3 marathons with the first 11 mile basically down hill from the start in the parking lot at the intersection of H50 & H28 and running north to Incline Village. The Cal Neva Marathon ends in Tahoe City above Commons Beach. The first half of the Marathon is in Nevada and the second half is in California. The Nevada Half Marathon ends at the north end of Lakeshore Blvd in Incline Village. The views of each of these races are incredible. The Cal-Neva Marathon starts at about 7000' and ends in Tahoe City at lake level, 6230'.

The Friday and Saturday Marathons are each run basically half in CA and half in NV. Either of these races can be counted for either state in your quest to run all 50 states.

These  two marathon and half marathons are part of the  Triple Marathoner or the Tahoe Trifecta. There is a different finishers medal for each race, each day, finishers license plate holders and tech shirts will be awarded. There is an overall award for each of these races, but no age division or other  awards will be given to these boutique races.

There will be at  least six Aid Stations along both marathon routes Aid stations are approximately every 5 miles.
